Welcome to
Sol Postpartum Doula

My name is Elizabeth, and I am a certified Ayurvedic postpartum doula offering heart-centered care for mothers in the tender weeks after birth.

Rooted in the wisdom of Ayurveda and the sacred 42-day window of rest, my offerings are designed to nourish your body, calm your nervous system, and gently guide you through the transformation of becoming a mother.

Whether your birth was empowering or difficult, joyful or tender with grief, I’m here to hold space for your full experience—with warmth, care, and devotion.

Ayurveda is an ancient healing tradition that honors the mother as whole—body, mind, and spirit—and sees the postpartum window as a sacred threshold of transformation. The first 42 days after birth are viewed as a crucial time for deep rest, nourishment, and loving support.

According to Ayurveda, childbirth leaves the mother in a naturally elevated Vata state—a state governed by the elements of ether and air. This can bring feelings of anxiety, depletion, coldness, and a sense of being ungrounded. Ayurvedic postpartum care gently brings balance by helping the mother to feel safe, rooted, and supported.

Through nourishing easy-to-digest warming foods, herbal teas, abhyanga (oil massage), and Belly Binding, we focus on rebuilding agni—the digestive fire—so the body can heal, energy can return, and emotional clarity can emerge.

Ayurvedic postpartum care is a soft landing into motherhood—a time to be held, not hurried. It is not about bouncing back, but about moving inward to reconnect with your body, your baby, and yourself. When a mother is deeply cared for, healing unfolds not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually as well.
